Keisha Grant, an anchor for NBC Connecticut, will be the keynote speaker for High School Journalism Day at Southern Connecticut State University on Friday, Oct. 7.
The event returns this year after the COVID-19 pandemic forced a two-year hiatus from hosting large groups. HSJ Day exposes high school students to the journalism industry and working journalists. It is part of the Journalism Department’s mission to contribute to the growth and preparation of future journalists in the state.
A list of workshops and registration form will be posted here soon. Contact Cindy Simoneau, Journalism Department chair, at simoneauc1@southernct.edu with any questions.
