The students in Multimedia Journalism, taught by Assistant Professor Jodie Gil, paired with the New Haven Independent in Fall 2014 to document life for people using the CT Transit system in Connecticut.
The series won a 2014 Excellence in Journalism award from the Connecticut Society of Professional Journalists. The series placed second in the General Reporting Series category for online publications.
