Spend some time with two journalists-turned-educators at a mini session during the Making CONNections regional journalism conference at Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven.
The session, “So you want to transition to teaching,” will be held from 4:30 – 5 p.m. at the Adanti Student Center on Friday, April 8.

Cindy Simoneau is the chair of the Journalism Department at Southern Connecticut State University. She is the former assistant managing editor of the Connecticut Post, and a former longtime CTSPJ officer and past president. She was an adjunct at three other Connecticut universities.
Vivian B. Martin is the chair of the Journalism Department at Central Connecticut State University. She worked as a reporter and op-ed columnist for the Hartford Courant, and has published in magazines such as the former Northeast and Hartford magazines, Woman’s Day, Woman’s World, and Scientific America.
