The National Sports Media Association has named Dom Amore the Connecticut Sports Writer of the Year for 2021. This is Amore’s sixth time earning the honor. He is a senior sports writer for the Hartford Courant, where he has worked since 1988.
Amore teaches sports writing and advanced sports storytelling courses at Southern Connecticut State University, and graduated from the SCSU Journalism program in 1985.
